The Erfan Niayesh Specialty Group of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care provides 24-hour support services for anesthesia and intensive care demands.
 
The specialty group of anesthesiology and intensive care operates in the following locations:
  • 1 Operating room in the Labor and delivery unit
  • 2 IVF operating rooms
  • 3 Operating rooms in the endoscopy unit
  • 1 Emergency operating room
  • 1 Operating room in the wound care clinic
  • CATH LAB
  • 40 intensive care beds in ICU
  • Clinical wards
  • Clinics
 
The operating rooms and intensive care units are supported 24-hour by anesthesiologists, pain, and ICU fellowships. These specialists are ready to provide support services to other medical groups as well as offering several services to patients such as visits, counseling, analgesia, sedation in the MRI, CT, wards, etc.
 
The operating rooms are equipped with modern Leon Plus anesthesia machines (2016) made in Germany as well as the Rahe Saadat cardiac and pulmonary monitoring system (cardiac, cardiogram, modern capnograph, pulse oximetry, etc.) which is made in Iran. Each operating room has at least 3 swiss-made Argus perfusion pumps and these devices are mounted from the roof with the Pendle system and the capability of 180-degree rotation. Intensive care units such as the ICU OH, ICU NS, ICU G, and the ICU S. are under the 24-hour supervision of anesthesiologists.
 
The anesthesiology and intensive care group with an exclusive room that is equipped with central monitoring system where an anesthesiologist constantly monitors and evaluates all parameters of the patients in the central operating room (located next to the recovery section). Anesthesiology technicians are also provided with a special pager device in the form of bracelets in order to have easier access to anesthesiologists during surgeries.
