General Operating Room

The General operating room of the Erfan Niayesh Hospital is on the B1 floor, adjacent to the MRI unit and ICU-OH. Patients will be transferred directly to the intensive care unit through a short corridor following the cardiac surgeries. 
There are 11 operating rooms equipped with pulmonary and cardiac monitoring systems and the Leon Plus anesthesia machines at this center. The Leon Plus is one of the most advanced anesthesia machines which are made in Germany.

  • Neurosurgery
  • Laparoscopy and obesity
  • Colorectal surgery
  • Orthopedic surgery
  • Obstetric surgery
  • Thoracic surgery
  • Urologic surgery
  • ENT surgery
  • Oral and maxillofacial surgery
  • Vascular surgery
  • Cosmetic and reconstructive surgery
  • Dental surgery with general anesthesia
 
The general operating room has a recovery section where an anesthesiologist is always present and anesthesia technicians along with the skilled nursing staff are ready to provide essential services to the patients. Additionally, the central monitoring room is adjacent to the recovery section, where an anesthesiologist constantly monitors all the operating rooms and recovery sections. In order to have direct access to the general operating room from clinical and intensive care units, two elevators under clean conditions are also available.
