Wound Care Clinic

The Wound, Ostomy, and Burn Clinic consists of a group of specialists providing medical services and care in the following fields:

Treatment of acute and chronic wounds
Primary care and treatment for complications in patients with different types of respiratory, nutritional, and excretory ostomy
Burns treatment (for patients who do not need to be admitted to hospital) with minimal pain and scarring using modern techniques
Maximum leg and foot protection for diabetic patients and for patients with arterial and venous ulcers.

These services are provided on an inpatient and outpatient basis by using equipment of several units such as the emergency unit, outpatient operating room of the wound clinic, intensive care units, endoscopy, wards, and clinics.

The following medical and surgical treatments are provided at this center:

Various types of debridement by surgical, autolytic, biological, mechanical, and enzymatic methods
Modern surgical / wound dressings from world-famous companies
New offloading methods such as TCC.EZ and AIRCAST and special shoes
Wound treatment through
Negative pressure wound therapy
Surgical treatments with hydrosurgery and ultrasonic surgery
Use of surgical dressings / biological wounds and stem cells
Accurate measurements of wound healing such as ABI and the use of compression therapy
Radiofrequency sympathectomy in patients with peripheral microangiopathy
Angiography, CT angiography, MR angiography, and finally peripheral cardiovascular angioplasty (leg) if required
Advanced vascular bypass surgery if required
Advanced reconstruction surgery including advanced flaps in wound healing
Skin grafts in wound healing from the patient himself or from donated skin (allograft)
