The Erfan Niayesh CCU-2 Cardiac Intensive Care Unit is located on the second floor of the hospital and is equipped with modern intensive care beds and cardiopulmonary monitors. There are a total number of 7 CCU2 beds in this section, and there is also a special operating bed as well as an isolated bed with particular considerations that both are equipped with an advanced central monitoring system to monitor all of the patients simultaneously.

The manager of the CCU department of the Erfan Niayesh Hospital is in charge of the education of this department.

The Echocardiography Room in this unit is equipped with the most advanced 3D echocardiography devices.

Additionally, patients undergoing coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty, correction of congenital heart defects, cardiac arrhythmias, chronic blood pressure control, valve dysfunction, and its side effects, large vessel stenting (EVAR), permanent and temporary pacemaker, implantation various cardiomyopathy, various heart failures with pulmonary complications, cerebral and carotid angiographies, treatment of DVT and ... are admitted to the CCU2 unit. This unit provides 24-hour support with the constant presence of a cardiologist and a team of professional nurses.
