Baby-friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) Award (more information)
The Baby-friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) was launched in 1991 by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), and Erfan Niayesh Hospital is honored to receive this award.
Iran University of Medical Sciences has selected Erfan Niayesh Hospital as a child-friendly hospital based on the assessments conducted by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
The Child-friendly award was given to the hospital by officials of the Breastfeeding promotion program of Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Mrs. Fariba Fallahzadeh and Mrs. Shokoofeh Heydari, and also in the presence of senior managers.
